Insert Old Card

It's important to replace your viewing card whilst your set top box is plugged in. The front panel of most boxes will have a power light on the display. If it's unlit, there could be no power getting to the box. Check that it's plugged into the mains socket.

Problem

If you see the message below on your TV screen after attempting to change your card, follow the instructions in Solutions Step 1 and Step 2.

For your information - Please insert your old Sky viewing card. Wait for five minutes then replace with new Sky viewing card

Solution - Step 1

Re-insert your old viewing card, and wait for normal programme viewing to resume.

After 5 minutes, remove the old card and start the card changeover process again, following the step-by-step instructions.
