Card Not Authorised
If you see a warning on your TV screen that your viewing card is not authorised, your set top box may not be ready for its new viewing card.
Problem
You see a message like the one below on your TV screen after inserting your new viewing card.
Solution
With your set top box switched on (not in standby or powered off):
- Remove your new viewing card and re-insert your old one.
- Leave your old card in place for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, reinsert your new Sky viewing card. If you see the same message again, please contact your Pay TV provider.
