Why is your card changing?
From time to time we need to replace Sky viewing cards with brand new ones to ensure you receive a secure and up-to-date service.
We are continuing to mail out replacement cards attached to a mailer like the one shown below. If you haven't received your replacement card, then it may have been delayed by the Royal Mail strike action. Because of these postal delays, existing Sky viewing cards will remain valid until the postal situation has improved and we're reassured that cards are being delivered as planned.
If you have moved house without informing Sky, please update your address details.
Who will receive a new Sky viewing card?
We'll be replacing all Pay TV providers' viewing cards. Plus, Pay Once Watch Forever and Digital SwitchOver (DSO) Help Scheme customers will also be automatically mailed cards.
If you do not fit the criteria above, but use a Sky viewing card to access free-to-air channels, you won't automatically receive a replacement card. However, you can obtain a new card by visiting sky.com/replacecard.

When do you need to change your card?
We are continuing to mail out replacement cards. As soon as yours arrives, replace your existing card with the new card to avoid any interruption to your viewing. Instructions come with your replacement card and it should take less than a minute.

Got your card? Here's how to change it
Your Sky box must be switched on at the mains for 24 hours before swapping the card, and if you're recording you should wait until this has finished.
Your viewing card may be hidden behind a protective flap. If you have problems locating your viewing card slot, please visit
